Crazy Cat!

For Christmas this year, I got these neat headbands in m stocking. The top part is bendable plastic and one the bottom was an elastic band and I got a black one and a brown one. About a week after Christmas, I was unable to find the black one. I figured it would show up somewhere sooner or latter.

Well, it did. Anna and I were hauling in wood and I found it on the steps of the garage. Unfortunately, Snickers had found it before me. She chewed off one end of the headband so the elastic part fell off. What will I do with that cat?

Come Out Come Out Where Ever You Are!

I can't seem to find winter around here. It was a big shocker compared to a year ago when we had at least two feet of frozen snow when we had 56 degree weather here on Monday.

Last year, the trouble was that our driveway was too icy to get the cars up and down. This year, the driveway is to soft and muddy. There were big ditches where the rain had eroded ditches on either side of the drive way that were only going to get bigger. So we spent our MLK day getting out the John Deere, hooking up the tractor, and loading it with rocks from the rock pile in our field. We then took them and filled the holes up for the gravel guy to come and put down, well... gravel.

I was trying to get a picture of Snickers, but she was always either moving or attacking the string on the camera. This was as good as I could get.

Speaking of the little stinker her self, the cats have a heated pad in the garage that is covered in blankets for them to keep warm in the winter. Apparently, one night while trapped in the garage she got bored and decided to chew the chord into two pieces. It wasn't plugged in so she didn't get shocked, but she chewed all the way through it!

The days following, I found more little pieces scattered around the garage. Little stinker. Good thing she's cute and cuddly.

12 o'clock church has been nice but I knew it would never last. Well, I guess I should be grateful because I get to sleep in an hour longer than I wake-up for school. But today, I had to miss out on waking up early because once again, I am sick. this time it's my throat and my nose, and some type of fever. So I get a cold, then the flu, then SWINE flu, then another cold with a little bit of flu, and now a cold/fever again. All in one fall/winter.

This Christmas everyone went to their in-law's except for Tara's crew and Ali, Anna, and I (aka- the singles). Everyone was getting sick. It started out that Lauren and Tyton had eye problems, then Griffy got a cold, then Ali, my mom, my dad, and I got it. But Ali is the only one who's ear exploded (her ear drum burst). So, now you know the history of my sickness.

Christmas was great this year. Tara, Ali, Anna, and I pitched in to get my parents a new ice cream maker. I also got my dad a personalized desk calendar and some Certz and my mom a Slap Chop. I got a few things including a fuzzy sweater and an awesome journal (pictured above). Best of all, we got a dell mini! I love it! When I go on our home computer the monitor is huge! And he has a webcam with cool effects. He's a keeper! Tara & James' family got a Wii. I wish they forgot it honestly. The games on Wii resort are way fun.

My New Years resolution this year of 2010 (the first time I typed that I put 20010! gonna have to get used to that!) is to journal and blog at least monthly, to get strait As, and get to bed by 10 (ish) every night. Well, that's all for now!
