Today has been another beautiful 60 degree day. The clouds have passed us for now.
As a tradition, every year at
Valumtimes my daddy gets us a dozen roses and we each get to pick one and my mommy gets all the rest. Featured above is my rose on my window seat.
On the same window seat, I have my boom box which acts as a nice shelf for my spider plant. As you may or may not know, spider plants grow little baby plants on one of their special stem thingys.
We were at Tuesday Morning today and I saw some cute pots. The plants were getting big and needed their own pots. So I got potting soil at Fred Meyer's. When I got home I cut them off of the plant and gave them their very own home. I hope they are as happy with it as I am.
We didn't have any muffins, but maybe it was the delicious dinner my mother was preparing. Either way, we some how got a moose in our front yard. It was this last Tuesday when I heard Mom yelling, "Anna, Laine come quick!" He (or she) was just chillin' out in our yard eating the twigs on the trees. For a moose, he wasn't big. When he was standing by our mini van, he was taller by about a foot.
Sorry the pictures are so dark. I had to take them through the window, so I couldn't have the flash on and it was late evening. The moose kind of did a lap around the house until my dad pulled up and he hoped over the fence into the neighbors yard.
